Mabel Sim, Senior Counsellor

Service Description

Mabel Sim is a trained counsellor registered with Singapore Association for Counselling. She works with people who have been through traumatic childhood experiences such as physical, verbal, and sexual abuses, gender identity issues, relationship issues with parents and family members, and painful emotional memories. She also works with people who deal with psychological problems such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. She is also a clinical counselling supervisor. Prior to her counselling days, Mabel was a qualified accountant. Due to her own childhood struggles, Mabel had to seek professional help. As she walked out of her struggles, she realised that she could help others with her own experience. Mabel holds a Bachelor in Theology and a Masters in Social Science (professional counselling) from Australia and Graduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision. To facilitate more dynamic conversations, Mabel prefers counselling sessions to be held in-person at aLife centre.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation must be done via telephone or email to aLife at least 24 hours in advance or a charge of 50% of the agreed fee will be made except in the case of illness or other emergencies.
