As a respected clinician and researcher, Prof Yap-Seng Chong has a profound interest in women’s health, early life before birth and the trajectories of health and development of children during their growing up years. Prof Yap-Seng Chong’s talk will touch on the Growing Up in Singapore Towards healthy Outcomes or GUSTO cohort study since its launch in 2009. The study delves into scientifically important insights based on factors influencing the health and development of children and their mothers in Singapore, all with the aim of giving children in Singapore the best start to life.
