Service Description

Wen Jie holds a Masters of Counselling with Monash University, following his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with Murdoch University. He has since worked as a Youth Worker, conducting programmes and activities for at-risk youths, helping them work on their social emotional development. Through his work, he has also made efforts to provide counselling to these youths who require the further engagement and support, and provided guidance and mentorship to them - especially in the area of their education and career. Prior to his work with youths, Wen Jie was working in the elderly sector, providing psychoeducation and case management to those who are at-risk of developing mental illnesses. He has helped many elderly to find the right support and services that would enable them to live a dignified and meaningful life. In his work, he has also educated many families and members of the public on mental health awareness, and engaged many volunteers to spend their time and efforts meaningfully.
