aLife offers a comprehensive suite of services to cater to the growing needs of young  families, couples contemplating marriage and families going through challenging times. aLife believes in helping families to build strong and resilient family relationships.

We provide assistance and support through the following programs:

  • The Caterpillar Club!

  • Youth @aLife Evolve (YALE) & Best Buddy Support System (BUDS)

  • SpeakEasy (Literacy)

  • Therapy

The Caterpillar Club is a character-building enrichment program for children (4 to 12 years old) from low income and/or disadvantaged families. 

Youth @ aLife's Evolve (YALE) are for youths (12-16 years old) keen on developing and enhancing their confidence, articulation and social skills.​ They are conducted quarterly cycles of 8-12 weeks with holistic and interactive learning journeys and feature sessions under the umbrellas of speech and drama, visual arts, sports, etiquette & decorum.

YALE hopes to build the self-confidence of the youth while opening windows of opportunity to discover one's passion and hidden talents.

Best Buddy Support System (BUDS) is a program for children & youth from low income households or dysfunctional families. The program is targeted at children & youth who are struggling socially and/or could benefit from light educational assistance and mentorship.

aLife's SpeakEasy is a speech and literacy pilot program for children (age 4 to 12 years old) from low income households with speech, articulation and literacy issues or whose family feels they require additional assistance and support in catching up to their academic level.

aLife currently offers the following therapy programmes: Creative Art Therapy & Play Therapy

Creative Art Therapy (in joint partnership with The Red Pencil Singapore) is aimed at children (4 to 12 years old), adults and families who have been through overwhelming and traumatic life circumstances such as life-threatening illness, violence and abuse. Each Creative Art Therapy module consist of 8 one-hour weekly sessions.

Play Therapy (in joint partnership with College of Allied Educators) is aimed at children (3 to 12 years old) to help children and their families address and resolve the challenges a child is experiencing using theoretical orientations.  Each Play Therapy module comprises 8-12 weekly one-hour sessions at aLife centre.

Learning Outcomes for Clients

Through therapy, we also aim to identify any learning difficulties or early onset of issues that the child may be facing. Ultimately, we hope to achieve a healthier bonding and foster a deeper rapport between the child and his or her peers, and his or her immediate family members.
