The Marriage Enrichment Course (MEC) is meant for newly married couples and for those who are seriously contemplating marriage. It is for those who want to see their marriage work and also for those who wish to avoid the “pitfalls” and “surprises” after marriage.

The MEC emphasises communication between couples. Presentations are given to the group as a whole, but individual couple discussions are private. You are encouraged to concentrate on your partner and to get in touch with your deepest and honest feelings when discussing a variety of topics.

The MEC provides the opportunity for you to be open with your partner - a time together to talk honestly about your future lives. The course will also help you to know yourself in areas where you are vulnerable, your needs and your expectations. You will also learn to discover your partner's strengths and weaknesses. These discussions will enable you to know each other more intimately. You will then understand why both of you behave the way you do and the likely consequences of this on your future life together as husband and wife.
